BRK 230V Dicon heat sensors have been devised especially for use in spaces where smoke sensors function not well.
Heat sensors give extra protection at fire if he is used in combination with a smoke detection system. This type of sensor is particularly suitable for spaces with high surroundings temperature, a high humidity degree, much condensation or cooking dampf. Smoke detectors would too frequently give false alarm in these spaces.
Its recommended to install heatsensors in combination with smoke sensors, or in case of a replacement of it. Heat sensors qualify also for installation in home-build garages which are linked by means of a door with the house. Inflamable fluids in a garage or working space are a serious risk factor, but for smoke detectors these spaces are frequently too dusty.
The heat sensors provides battery with 9V alkaline or lithium backup.
